Adventures of the Sea Eagle

Sea Eagle is a 2004, Nordhavn 47, hull number 28.  She is a beautiful, efficient and seaworthy full displacement trawler.  Her home port is Olympia, WA (USA), in the stunning waters of the Pacific Northwest.

The Nordhavn 47's exceptional passage making ability is built upon a very safe offshore layout that is perfect for cruising.    Sea Eagle is an exceptionally well maintained vessel that has actively cruised the West Coast of the US.  She has travelled extensively from Baja California to Glacier Bay AK with more than 20,000 miles under her keel.

Unique Features:

Sea Eagle's custom, dark striped, teak joinery is as unusual as it is beautiful.   The wood was hand picked by the original owenrs and is bookmatched throughout the interior of the vessel.

The pilothouse offers a spectacular view and Sea Eagle has the improved layout with the full width watch berth and the settee moved aft 12”.  The wheelhouse dash features one 23" flat screen, two 17" flat screens plus a Furuno NavNet display.  The computer screens are driven by two redundant computers, running Nobeltec Admiral.  Secured in the center of the control area is a beautiful Stidd helm chair.

Sea Eagle features two staterooms with the Master centered below the pilothouse and the guest room forward.   Both feature large, comfortable berths and ensuite heads.  The forward room also doubles as the ship's office.   Access to the vessel's amazing stand up engine room is via a full-sized door in the Master Suite.  Be sure to check out the engine room art work in the Photo Gallery!
